File (Embeded) - Wrexham v Lewes title

Having suffered a similar fate to Lewes in the FA Cup in midweek, Wrexham bounced back at the expense of Lewes on Saturday in the Blue Square Premier, with a 2-0 win over the Rooks at the Racecourse Ground.

Shaun Whalley put the home side in the lead after 18 minutes, but Lewes were unlucky not to equalise five minutes after half time when Steve Elliott's goal was disallowed for offside.

Loan signing Joe Tabiri from Barnet was sent off in the 65th minute for his second yellow card, and after the resulting free kick was parried to safety by Lewes keeper Rikki Banks, the following corner was headed home by Marc Williams. Report
